<p>The oil impregnated power capacitor is intended for difficult climatic conditions, under which its housing must be moisture- and oil-tight. For this purpose the housing (1) has a lid (2) (or possibly two lids) secured in position by a fold. The joint between the lid and the housing is sealed by adhesive(7). The thickness, or width of the sealing material is greater than three times the fold height (y). The lid grip (x) may correspond at least to the fold height.</p> |
