An automated knitting machine has an electric motor shaft (1) whose speed is regulated by changing the actuator (2) voltage. The piezo-ceramic actuators are regulated by a change in the direct current that is determined by the needle cylinder speed. The speed of rotation and current position (1) is determined by an angular encoder sensor (5) coupled to the control unit and inverter. The voltage applied is direct current.
