Dry powder formulation (I), adapted for reconstitution with water into a multiple dose suspension, comprises amoxicillin (A) (400 -1250 mg/unit amount of (I)) and clavulanate (B) (40-90 mg/unit amount of (I)) and further comprises a pH stabilizing agent (carboxymethylcelluose sodium) and excipients, where the ratio of (A) to (B) is at least 10:1.
