Refrigerant mixture and refrigeration cycle apparatus using the same

A refrigerant mixture comprises carbon dioxide (CO 2) and hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerant at least one of propane, cyclopropane, isobutane or butane. If the HC refrigerant is propane (70 wt.%) then CO 2 is =30 wt.%; if the HC refrigerant is cyclopropane (60 wt.%) then CO 2 is =40 wt.%; if the HC refrigerant is isobutane (40 wt.%) then CO 2 is =60 wt.%; and if the HC refrigerant is butane (30 wt.%) then CO 2 is =70 wt.%. An independent claim is included for a refrigeration cycle apparatus using the refrigerant mixture.
