<p>The valve (1) has an actuation train with a piezoelectric, electrostrictive or magnetostrictive actuator (2) that interacts with a valve closure body (8) that forms a seal with a valve seat (9). At least one flexible section (25,26) subject to fuel pressure on one side is arranged on either (upstream and downstream) side of the actuator. The first and second flexible sections are arranged so that they, or the fuel pressure acting on them, exert opposing axial forces on the actuator or actuating train.</p> |
