TRANSFER FILM FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

Disclosed is a glass paste composition containing a glass frit, a binder resin and a plasticity-imparting substance. Also disclosed are a transfer film having a film-forming material layer composed of such a composition and a plasma display panel comprising a partition wall composed of a sintered glass body which is made from such a transfer film. The transfer film obtained by using the above glass paste composition has sufficient flexibility as a dry film. By subjecting this transfer film to a post-bake, a film with brittleness is formed; and by subjecting the thus-obtained film to sandblasting, a part of the film is removed and the film is formed into a desired shape. By firing the thus-shaped film, there can be obtained a sintered glass body having a desired shape relatively easily and surely. This sintered glass body is excellent in height uniformity and has a high aspect ratio, and is useful, for example, as a partition wall for plasma display panels.
