PURPOSE: A liquid crystal panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to form an insulating layer exposing a metal pattern without photolithography using a mask, thereby improving the productivity. CONSTITUTION: A metal pattern(52) has a first surface processed area(50b) and a second surface processed area(50a) different in a character reacting to a specific solution, wherein the first surface processed area is a hydrophobic area and the second surface processed area is a hydrophilic area. An insulating layer is formed on the metal pattern of the second surface processed area and is formed of a material having the same character as the second surface processed area to expose the first surface processed area of the metal pattern.
