PURPOSE:To positively discharge slices of bread at a predetermined interval, by arranging a gate, a lever, supporting plates, a shutter, etc. adjacent to the lower end of a slanted conveyor having the slices thereon, and successively operating them through respective cylinders. CONSTITUTION:The slices 1 of bread are placed on the slanted conveyor 2 with the gate 4 and the lever 5 closed, the shutter 17 moves down, and the supporting plates 15 separate away from both sides of the slices 1. From this state, the cylinder 14 is operated to allow the supporting plates 15 to push both sides of several slices 1b, 1c... but the foremost slice 1a, and synchronously therewith the cylinder 12 is operated to allow the upper stepped part 6 of the lever 5 to push up the lower part of the foremost slice 1a thereby it is pushed forward. Then the cylinder 18 is operated so that the shutter 17 is moved to the boundary 16 between the first slice 1a and the second slice 1b, and reaches the front surface of the slice 1b. Then the cylinder 17 is operated to open the gate 4, and therefore the slice 1a is discharged onto the conveyor 20. |
