Operating unit for lights, especially an electronic ballast unit (EVG) for a gas discharge bulb or tube, has an input (18a, 18b) for connection to a light sensor. The light sensor connection incorporates a resistance (4) for address coding of the ballast unit. A control unit (12) in the ballast unit is designed to interpret a temporally invariable resistance value in the light sensor connection as an address code. The invention also relates to a corresponding lighting system with a central control unit and at least one inventive electronic ballast unit and use of a light sensor connection with an electronic ballast unit. An independent claim is made for a method for address coding of an operating unit for gas discharge bulbs. |
