PURPOSE:To eliminate the sense of discomfort of occupants of a room by a method wherein heat exchangers, the heating capacity of which can be changeable, and a blowoff device, the blowing-off direction of which can be made changeable, are provided and said heating capacities and blowing-off direction are controlled to be periodically changed in the same pace. CONSTITUTION:A blower 5, the heat exchangers 6, 7 and 8 locating between a suction port 9 and the blower 5 and a plurality of vanes 10 for deflecting the direction of blowing-off air located as a blowoff port are provided within an air conditioner main body 4 installed at the upper part of the room. In addition, a controlling unit (not shown) to periodically change the heating capacities of the heat exchangers 6, 7 and 8 and the blowing-off direction of a plurality of the vanes 10 in the same pace is provided. Consequently, the heating capacities can be reduced when the direction of blowing-off air is directed to the ceiling of the room and increased when the direction of blowing-off air is directed to the floor of the room. |
