PURPOSE:To automatically cope with another party even if a call is received in the course of a driving operation, by generating an answering voice under a standby state to the calling party, when a transient driving operation state of a driver is detected, at the time of a call from the outside of a car. CONSTITUTION:When a call has entered into an automobile telephone device 5 from the outside of a car, a call signal is waveform-shaped by a waveform shaping circuit 6, an FF7 is set by its signal, and an output of the FF7 is inputted to a microcomputer 8. When the computer 8 detects a transient driving operation state of a driver by signals of a steering switch 2, a shift position switch part 3, etc., the computer operates a relay 5a of a telephone equipment, shifts it to a communication state, also a command is given to a sound synthesizer 11, and makes a loudspeaker 12 generate a holding voice, for instance, ''Please wait a minute'', etc. This standby voice command is sent to the calling party through a transmitter, and measures for making the calling party wait are taken until the operating state is stabilzed, so that the driving operation is executed free from care without minding a ringing tone. |
