FIELD: oil-containing water purification plants; shipbuilding; mechanical engineering; food-processing; industry oil producing and oil refining industries; construction engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes oil-containing water separator with coalescing plate units and sectionalizing partitions, petroleum product and water receivers, azeotrope vapor condenser and separator for separation of segregating condensate. Slotted passages between coalescing plates have varying section with stagnant zones to which separated admixtures are forced out. Sectionalizing plates are inclined for change of flow direction from descending to ascending. Proposed plant excludes contamination of atmosphere with vapor of volatile hydrocarbons, entrapping oil-containing vapor at considerable reduction of water products in separated petroleum products. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; complete removal of sludge at minimum water content. ^ 3 cl, 7 dwg |
