A robot remote control system in which a robot device controlled at a distance can perform a skilful operation and remove a heavy obstacle. A robot remote control device (1) includes a remote instruction device (4) for generating control data for the robot device (2), a first computer device to which control data is input for processing, and a first mobile communication device for transmitting control data to a base station (19) connected to a public line network (20). The robot device (2) includes a second mobile communication device for receiving the control data transmitted from the base station (21) connected to the public line network (20) and a second computer device for processing the control data and controlling a mechanism section (10). The mechanism section has one or two large work arms, one or two small work arms, and a running system controlled by the second computer device. The second computer device controls the one or two large work arms, the one or two small work arms, and the running system according to control data of the robot device (2).
