METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A CONTENTS CLIPPING SERVICE TO A PDA BY USING A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH PROCESSING CONTENTS, CLIPPED AND REGISTERED BY A USER, IN CASE THAT THE USER MAKES A TRANSMISSION REQUEST FOR A SPECIFIC CLIP, AND PROVIDING THE PROCESSED CONTENTS TO THE USER'S PDA IN REAL TIME

PURPOSE: A method and system for providing a contents clipping service to a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) using a wireless communication network is provided to omit the data synchronization process between a PDA and a PC(Personal Computer) and to regenerate clipping contents by using an ordinary PDA web browser without the necessity of installing an additional contents regeneration program. CONSTITUTION: A contents clipping service system(200) comprises a user computer(210), a clipping web server(220), a database server(230), a user PDA(240), and a clipping service server(280). The user computer(210) accesses a wired web site by using an installed web browser and clips registered contents. The clipping web server(220) receives the clip information of clipping contents from the user computer(210). The database server(230) receives and stores the clip information, and stores the information on a user subscribed for the contents clipping service. The user PDA(240) requests the transmission of clipping contents from the clipping web server(220) through a mobile network or a wireless Internet. The clipping service server(280), if a transmission request for clipping contents is received, collects the clipping contents through the Internet, processes the clipping contents according to the type of the user PDA(240), and transmits them to the user PDA(240).
