METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROGRAMMING/PROCESSING DATA TO UNLOCK REGION AND ERASING DATA STORED IN UNLOCK REGION

PURPOSE: A method and a device for programming data to an unlock region and erasing the data stored in the unlock region are provided to program/erase the unlock region in a way to access one chine in case that the unlock region is present in multiple chips. CONSTITUTION: The multiple chips(110-1, 110-2) are respectively equipped with memory cell arrays(120-1, 120-2) including all or a part of the unlock regions(121-1, 121-2), address comparing circuits(160-1, 160-2), and an interface. The address comparing circuit receives/stores region addresses defining the unlock region, compares an inputted processing address with the stored unlock region addresses, and outputs an unlock enable signal as a comparison result. The interface processes the unlock region and data of the chip selected by the processing address from the multiple chips in response to the unlock enable signal.
