A pneumatic tire that improves, in a balanced manner, driving stability, road noise, ride comfort, and fuel consumption characteristics. In the pneumatic tire, when viewed in a meridian section, a bead filler is larger than a triangle formed by connecting a top and a bottom side, and a sheet-like auxiliary filler is disposed from a side wall portion to a bead portion. The auxiliary filler has a thickness of 0.5 to 2.0 mm and is formed from a harder material than a rubber composition, excluding the bead filler, adjacent to the auxiliary filler. The top (D) of the bead filler is at a position lower than the point B1 and higher than a rim flange by 5 mm or more. The lower end (C1) of the auxiliary filler is at a position higher than the point A1 and lower than the point E2. The upper end (C2) of the auxiliary filler is at a position lower than the point A2, away from the point A2 by 10 mm or more, and higher than the point B2.
