摘要 PURPOSE: A ring laser gyroscope is provided to reduce performance degradation due to gas flow by exciting laser gain material using a high frequency. CONSTITUTION: An electrode for applying a high frequency is located at the outside of a resonator. The electrode for applying the high frequency is attached while confronting up and bottom of the resonator. When high frequency is applied to the electrode through an electric line(300) in which an electromagnetic wave is shielded, plasma ions moves in a vertical direction to light progressing direction. The electrode is a flat type. The electrode is inserted into electrode inserted grooves(110) formed at an upper part of the body of a ring laser gyroscope in order to be positioned at the outside of the resonator.
