PURPOSE: A water permeation preventing structure of a trunk door is provided to prevent water from dropping into a trunk room by protruding a drain plate toward a lower end of a rear cover in opening the trunk door and discharging the collected water out of a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: In a trunk door comprising upper and rear covers to open and close a trunk room formed in a rear side of a vehicle body, a water permeation preventing structure for the trunk door is composed of a guide plate(22) having inserting grooves(21) formed at both sides in the upper cover near the rear cover; a spring(23) fitted into the inserting grooves, wherein one end of the spring is fixed in the upper cover; a drain plate(30) hung through a pair of inserting grooves, connected to a lower end of a supporting bar(24) combined with the spring to form a gentle curve at the lateral side, and formed with a water collecting surface(25) projected to the end of the rear cover at the constant length in opening the trunk door; and a protruded sill(27) having hanging grooves(26) arranged at both sides in the vehicle body to hang the supporting bar in moving vertically the trunk door.
