PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the optical system of a whole system compact. SOLUTION: A photographing optical system 200 electronically photographing the image of an object is provided with an objective optical system constituted of a close-up optical system 210 and a pair of left and right zoom optical systems 220 and 230, a pair of left and right relay optical systems 240 and 250 forming the secondary image of the object by relaying the primary image of the object formed by the objective optical system and a convergence prism 260 making object light beams from the optical systems 240 and 250 close each other. Then, visual field diaphragms 270 and 271 are arranged at the forming positions of the primary images by the optical systems 220 and 230. Besides, pentagonal prisms 272 and 273 being as an optical path deflection element deflecting an optical path at a right angle are arranged at the optical systems 240 and 250. Then, the image forming magnification MR of the respective optical systems 240 and 250 is set so as to satisfy the condition of -3<MR<-1. |
