PURPOSE: A linearization device for a non-linear transmission system and a method therefor are provided to efficiently linearize the non-linear transmission system using a few LUTs(Look Up Tables) by interpolating compensation values indexed in a multi-LUT, calculating a compensation value corresponding to a real system operating point, and performing the linear distortion of a system input signal. CONSTITUTION: An LUT selector(120) selects the first activation operating point of the first LUT and the second activation operating point of the second LUT among previously stored activation operating points of a multi-LUT. The LUT selector(120) selects a few LUTs including the first LUT and the second LUT, and activates the selected LUTs. An interpolating unit(150) interpolates compensation values indexed from the activated LUT by using first activation operating point information and second activation operating point information. The interpolating unit(150) calculates a compensation value corresponding to a system operating point.
