FIELD: transport-engineering; bicycles. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to planetary transmissions in wheel hub. Higher gears are shifted in by locking sun wheels on stationary shaft 410 by means of pawls 421, 422. Pawl control ring 430 controls position of at least two sets of pawls 421, 422. Grooves to control pawls 421, 422 are made on inner surface of ring 430. Grooves have nonequal angular interval relative to central point of ring 430. Pawls 422 are provided with elongates part to control sun wheel arranged at considerable distance from pawl control ring 430.
