PURPOSE: A multi-gray scale image display device for restraining deterioration of picture quality and reducing motion picture pseudo frames and a method for reducing motion picture pseudo frames thereof are provided to restrain deterioration of picture quality and reduce the motion picture pseudo frames by performing a rearrangement process within plural pixels. CONSTITUTION: A multi-gray scale image display device is used for performing a predetermined gray scale expression process by defining one field by plural subfields having weighted luminance. The multi-gray scale image display device includes a signal array change unit in order to change an arrangement of parts of bit signals for forming image signals between plural pixels. The multi-gray scale image display device displays images by using the image signals after a rearrangement processor performs a rearrangement process.
