FIELD: ironing devices. ^ SUBSTANCE: iron includes hollow handle in which two mutually joined electromagnets are arranged. Said electromagnets form common duct having inside guiding tube. Massive magnetized core is placed in tube with possibility of moving along guiding tube. Windings of electromagnets are connected with circuit through rectifying unit and they are connected in series. Currents passing through windings of electromagnets are directed one opposite to other. Spring-loaded lever is joined with switch for changing electric current direction in windings of electromagnets. Back portion of iron body is tapered approximately by 45 degrees. Inner surface of guiding tube at least in its rear part may have increased slipperiness.
