PURPOSE: A structure of assembling an upper pole piece of a magnetron is provided to prevent an antenna from coming into contact with the inner side of an antenna insertion hole formed in the upper pole piece when the magnetron is assembled, thereby preventing the deterioration of power due to microwave leakage. CONSTITUTION: The bottom end of an antenna(20) is inserted into an antenna insertion hole of an upper pole piece(13) to be bonded to a vane(3). The bottom face of the edge of the upper pole piece is placed on a stepped portion(2a) formed at the inner side of the top of an anode cylinder(2) to be bonded by brazing. A motion preventing member(102) is formed between the upper pole piece and the anode cylinder to prevent the upper pole piece from being moved before bonded to the anode cylinder.
