PURPOSE:To enable memory to be formed in a photosensitive body superior in sensitivity, durability, and adapted to repeated copying by irradiating a photosensitive layer containing a specified azo compound formed on a conductive substrate with a light of about >=20lux.sec. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer formed on the conductive substrate contains at least one of the azo compounds represented by formula I in which each of Ar1 and Ar2 is an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon ring group; Cp is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group; and n is 0 or 1, and the memory is formed in said photosensitive layer by irradiating it with the light of >=about 20lux.sec, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be enhanced in sensitivity and durability and adapted to repeated copying, and to form memory in a simplified process. |
