PURPOSE: A method for managing a photo name card of a mobile communication terminal is provided to transceive photo name cards between terminals, and to store the received photo name cards in a terminal, so that the terminal can display a photo name card of an originating terminal when a call connection signal is received from the originating terminal. CONSTITUTION: An event signal for asking whether to request a photo name card to be transmitted is forwarded to a display(140). A user inputs a signal for selecting whether to request the photo name card(141). A system commanding unit decides whether the photo name card is requested, and if so, the commanding unit forwards the signal to an originating terminal(142,143). The commanding unit receives a message including the photo name card to decode the message(144), and decides whether the photo name card is included in the message(145). If so, the commanding unit sends an event signal for asking whether to download the photo name card to the display(146). The user selects whether to make a call while seeing a displayed image(147). The photo name card is automatically stored in an address book(149).
