PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a reactive fan(reaction-type fan) of a vinyl house in which several rotating bodies are fixedly installed around the fixture of a fan and an air discharge pipe is unidirectionally at each rotating body to unidirectionally inject air from the upper part of the rotating body is provided together with its method. The operation of a compressor which is installed at the exterior of the vinyl house causes the rotation of the rotating body by unidirectional injection of air and therefore prevents fire risks caused by an electric leakage in the vinyl house because of using no electricity as a power source for rotating the reaction fan. CONSTITUTION: The method of operating a reactive fan without electricity comprises the steps of: operating a compressor installed at the exterior of the vinyl house; supplying air to a fixture body(1); sending air to a unidirectional air injection pipe(5) installed at a rotating body(4) via a rotating shaft(2); rotating the rotating body in the opposite direction in which air is injected; blowing air; stopping the compressor. The rotating body is fixedly mounted on one side of the fixture body, a valve is installed at the rear of the body to connect to an air supply pipe(3). Several rotating bodies are fixedly installed at regular intervals at the dismal end of the rotating shaft, the unidirectional air injection pipe is fixedly installed from the lower end to the upper end of each rotating body. An air passageway is formed at the rotating shaft to connect to the air injection pipe.
