STYRENE-BASED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION COMPRISING SYNDIOTACTIC POLYSTYRENE RESIN, STYRENE-BASED RUBBER MODIFIED POLYMER, AND BROMINATED EPOXY COMPOUND

PURPOSE: A styrene-based thermoplastic resin composition is provided, to improve crystallization velocity by using a brominated epoxy compound, thereby enhancing mechanical strength and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION: The styrene-based thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a syndiotactic polystyrene resin; 0-30 parts by weight of a styrene-based rubber modified polymer; and 0.05-30 parts by weight of a brominated epoxy compound. Preferably the brominated epoxy compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein n is an integer of 1 or more and x is an integer of 1-5. Preferably the composition comprises further 50 parts by weight or less of an inorganic filler based on 100 parts by weight of the three components.
