PURPOSE:To form a polyester resin composition excelling in moldability and having excellent surface gloss, mechanical properties and thermal aging resistance, by mixing a polyethylene terephthalate with specified amounts of inorganic compound particles, a modified polyolefin oligomer and, optionally, a fibrous reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:This polyester resin composition comprises 100pts.wt. polyethy lene terephthalate or polyester having at least 80mol.% ethylene terephthalate units, 0.05-10pts.wt. at least one inorganic compound of a mean particle diame ter <=50mum, 0.5-20pts.wt. modified polyolefin oligomer prepared by effecting an addition reaction of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative with a polyolefin oligomer mainly composed of an ethylene component and/or a propylene component to such a degree that the saponification value is 5-200mgKOH/g and having a viscosity at 40 deg.C in the range of 100-5,000cP and 0-150pts.wt. fibrous reinforcement. |
