PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a customized orifice mechanism that allows for varying rates of fluid flow control or regulation with respect to drugs to customize control factors including an overall length of a winding, a cross-sectional area of a wire, a shape or configuration of a wire, dimensions of channels, and so on. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises: providing a mandrel having a predetermined length; and helically wrapping a winding around the mandrel, wherein the mandrel and the winding define a first channel for drug delivery, an inlet and an outlet. |
