<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for inkjet excellent in optical density, blotting resistance, color bleed, drying time, and long-term reliability, to provide an inkjet recorder, and to provide an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set uses at least two kinds of ink the first of which essentially consists of a pigment, a water-soluble solvent, and water and the second of which essentially consists of a pigment, a coagulant, a water-soluble solvent, and water. The ζ potential of the second ink is at least 10 mV in terms of an absolute value. The inkjet recording method uses the ink set and comprises applying both kinds of ink to a recording medium so as for them to come into contact with each other thereon to form an image.
