<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave receiver adopting a configuration capable of utilizing two different radio waves so as to enhance the convenience with respect to the display of its received radio wave strength. <P>SOLUTION: Radio wave processing sections 1, 2 receive radio waves and provide an output of various information items such as video information (video signal, video data), audio information (audio signal, audio data), and other pieces of information (positional information or the like). A switching section 4 receives output signals from the first and second radio wave processing sections 1, 2, selects the output signal according to a switching command from a control section 3 and supplies the selected output signal to a display section 6 and a speaker 7. The control section 3 acquires a voltage denoting the strength of the received radio wave (reception electric field strength) from each of tuners 11, 21, and controls switching display of the strength of the received radio wave in both tuners at the same time or on the basis of an operation of an operation section 5 by a user independently of which tuner processes the received radio wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
