PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static magnetic field generator capable of accurately reducing a leakage magnetic field at the time of nonuse by a magnetic field generation source capable of generating a stationary magnetic field stable over a long period of time without affecting an operation state at the time of use. SOLUTION: In the static magnetic field generator provided with a magnetic field generator 1 having a coil 2 for magnetic field generation as the magnetic field generation source capable of generating the stationary magnetic field stable over a long period of time, a magnetic body magnetic shield 3 for surrounding at least a part of the magnetic field generator 1 having the coil 2 for the magnetic field generation as the magnetic field generation source and reducing the leakage magnetic field is provided. The magnetic field generator 1 having the coil 2 for the magnetic field generation as the magnetic field generation source and the magnetic body magnetic shield 3 are made freely attachable and detachable.
