PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the data write time in an application executed by a device using a nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: A physical block M which is not used at present is retrieved from a redundant block list (step S1), and data is written in the retrieved physical block M (step S2). The block indicated by a table K of a logical-physical conversion table is updated from a block L to the block M (step S3), and the physical block L is registered in an erase waiting block list (step S4).
