The engine mounting comprises an electric actuator (15) which can act upon the hydraulic medium by a second diaphragm (13) which is provided in a side chamber (10) or a border-wall membrane (8) which limits one of the partial chambers (9b). The actuator can be brought to a position which reduces the volume of the partial chamber or side chamber and can be held in this position for long periods of time. The side chamber is hydraulically connected to the partial chamber via an opening (12).
