<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit ceiling board with increased strength, which is excellent in functionality, designability and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The unit ceiling board, which is assembled to a frame body and constitutes a system ceiling of a building, comprises a low-density member which is composed of a porous low-density material, and a high-density member which is composed of a higher-density material than the low-density member; and a locking end to be locked to the frame body is formed from at least a part of a peripheral edge of the high-density member. The functionalities such as sound insulating properties, sound absorbing properties and heat insulating properties are exerted by the low-density member, and the strength is secured by the high-density member. The manufacturing method for a unit ceiling comprises a low-density member molding process, a high-density member molding process and a lamination process. The low-density member and the high-density member are laminated after being separately molded, so that dimensional accuracy of the unit ceiling board can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
