<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus possessing a paper post-processor for preventing a paper on which image forming has been started at the time of the occurrence of a jamming and which is ejected to a subtray from being used even though the paper is taken out for charge evasion by applying an identification mark to the paper, and to provide a program to regulate its operation. <P>SOLUTION: The paper post-processor is provided with: an entrance sensor and an exit sensor for detecting the pass of the paper at an entrance part and a paper ejection part, respectively; a perforating means for perforating file holes on the paper; a paper transport means to transport the paper; a changeover gate for switching the ejection destination of the paper; and a plurality of trays for storing ejected paper on the downstream side of the changeover gate. When the exit sensor disposed at the paper ejection part on the side of the tray which has ejected paper among the trays detects the jamming, perforation processing is performed at a position deviated from a specified position for paper on the upstream side, and the paper is ejected to another tray by switching a paper transport path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
