PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive capable of stabilized rotational operation regardless of the magnetic force distribution of a rotor. SOLUTION: Imaging section of a camera is turned at a constant speed at all times regardless of the magnetic force distribution of a rotor by outputting control data preset for each phase of a polyphase stepping motor based on the magnetic force distribution of the rotor from a microprocessor 72 in units of step, generating a driving current based on the control data and feeding the polyphase stepping motor with the driving current.
