PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive optical filter excellent in optical characteristic.

SOLUTION: The optical filter has transparent base material 111 and an ink receiving layer 112 formed on the surface of the transparent base material, and the layer 112 is constituted of a 1st area 101R substantially transparent, and a 2nd area 101P containing colored ink and capable of adjusting light quantity. Optical path length in the 1st area 101R and that in the 2nd area 101P are set to be nearly equal.
