PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal noise generation attributed to chattering of a check valve while restraining flow resistance caused by the check valve. SOLUTION: A discharge opening (42a) of a compression mechanism (15) is provided with a discharge check valve (51) for preventing back-flow of a refrigerant gas. The discharge check valve (51) is provided with a switching mechanism (55) for switching a communicating point of a back-pressure chamber (52) of a valve disc (53). A piston (63) of the switching mechanism (55) is subjected to a spring force in a direction opposite to oil film pressure of a bearing portion (27) of a driving shaft (17) to reciprocate linearly. The back-pressure chamber (52) of the valve disc (53) communicates with an oldham chamber (35) when being driven by a motor, while being communicated with a crank chamber (33) when being stopped.
