<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a reinforced layer in a hose end from being turned up as well as to aim at facilitation for connecting work and improvement in airtightness in a connecting part by using an adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION:In advance of connection work between a hose (h) and a joint fitting (a), first of all, working for preparations for connection is applied to an edge of this hose (h). In brief, an adhesive tape 10 is rolled hard on an outer circumference of the hose (h) in advance, and the hose is cut off at the part, and afterward, a cover layer 2 is removed as long as the specified length after leaving the rolled part of the tape 10 behind. The connecting work is performed by the following processes that the hose edge worked in a suchlike way is inset between a nipple member 4 and a socket member 6 of the joint fitting (a), and in this state, this socket member 6 is caulked toward the nipple member 4. Since metallic fine lines of a reinforced layer 3 can be prevented from being turned up, the connection work becomes facilitated and, what is more, airtightness in the connecting part is improved.</p> |
