<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict memory accesses without breaking the operation of master devices in the case of restricting accesses when accesses exceed the temperature threshold of a memory device in a system capable of accessing the memory from a plurality of master devices. <P>SOLUTION: The access arbitration device is provided with a means for detecting the temperature threshold of a storage element, a register for determining the permission/non-permission of an access from a master device to the memory in accordance with a temperature state in each master device, a bus for transmitting an access request signal to the memory in accordance with the temperature state of a register value, an interface to a switch, and a timer for changing an access interval in each master in accordance with the temperature state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
