METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING WIDE-MOUTHED CUP CONTAINER, PRIMARY MOLDED INTERMEDIATE OBJECT, AND METHOD AND MOLD ASSEMBLY FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a wide-mouthed cup container having desired characteristics by biaxial stretching blow molding.

SOLUTION: This manufacturing apparatus 1 for the wide-mouthed cup container is constituted so that a multilayered sheet 2 is manufactured in a multilayered sheet extruding production line 3 and subjected to simultaneous punching and compression molding in a preform production line 5 to produce a preform (primary molded intermediate object) 4 for use in the production of the wide-mouthed cup container. By properly selecting the layered constitution and constituent resin of the multilayered sheet 2, the preform 4 capable of imparting various characteristics required in the wide-mouthed cup container can be obtained. In a blow molded container line 7, the preform 4 is subjected to biaxial stretching blow molding to produce the wide-mouthed cup container 6A.
