PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the belt slippage of CVT while inhibiting the impairing of the fuel economy without affected by the variation of torque. SOLUTION: A reference clamping pressure operating circuit 25 operates a reference clamping pressure Fc_b based on the input torque Tin detected by an input torque detecting circuit 23, a reduction ratioγoperated by a reduction ratio operating circuit 24, and a specific parameter. A torque variation correction clamping pressure operating circuit 26 determines a torque variation amplitude ratio T_Rlim corresponding to the input rotating frequency and the reduction ratioγin reference to a torque variation amplitude ratio table, and operates the variation torqueΔT based on the torque variation amplitude ratio T_Rlim. When the varied torqueΔT>0, the correction clamping pressureΔFc is operated, and when the varied torqueΔT≤0, the correction clamping pressureΔFc=0. A necessary clamping force operating circuit 27 operates the necessary belt clamping pressure Fc based on the reference clamping pressure Fc_b and the correction clamping pressureΔFc.
