PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic toner for developing electrostatic charge images capable of providing satisfactory picture images under any environmental condition and independently on the kind of developing device by adsorbing a siloxane oxyalkylene compd. or a mixture thereof to the surface of a magnetic body of the magnetic toner consisting primarily of a binder resin and the magnetic body. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner for developing electrostatic charge images consists primarily of a binder resin and a magnetic body having a siloxane oxyalkylene compd. or a mixture thereof adsorbed thereto. The siloxane oxyalkylene compd. is constituted of a siloxane group functioning as oleophilic group, and an ether bond and an OH group functioning as hydrophilic group. Accordingly, stable picture images are provided particularly in low humidity without being influenced by environmental conditions such as temp. humidity, etc., and stable picture images are provided independently on the kind of mechanism of development without being influenced by the copy speed or constitution of the developing device such as low speed developing device, high speed developing device,, etc. |
