<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting base simplifying cultivation of vegetation plants at a vegetation plant planting base for greening a construction, or the like; and to provide a greening method using the planting base. <P>SOLUTION: The planting base F for vegetation plants is arranged for greening a surface to be vegetated, and comprises a sheet material (a sheet 11) or a mat material (a mat 21) forming the outer shape of the planting base F, and a plurality of cells 12 (22) formed so as to be integrated with the sheet material or the mat material. The size of the planting base, the disposition or the size of the cells 12 formed at the planting base F are based on a standard of those of a cell-forming raising seedling tray. The greening method using the planting base F comprises sewing vegetation plants P on the planting base F using a seeding machine, and cultivating the vegetation plants P until the plants grow into appropriate sizes followed by arranging the planting base F on the surface to be greened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
