PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the difference between information of an imaging time recorded on a picked-up image and a real imaging time as minimum as possible even when an incorporated block 7 of an imaging apparatus 2 is not accurate. SOLUTION: With respect to a time stamp (recorded time information) of an information file recorded in a portable information recording apparatus such as portable information terminal or digital camera which is enabled to refer to time standard information as occasion demands but is disabled to refer to the information at all the time, the time stamp is synchronized with the time standard information twice or more beforehand and when the error of the incorporated clock can be predicted, a time stamp resulting from correcting the predicted error is added to recorded information. Besides, when the time standard is accessed three times after information recording and synchronized with the incorporated clock, it is selected whether said predictively recorded time stamp is to be replaced or to be kept as it is with the error calculated at such a time as a time stamp of said recorded information.
