HYDROPHILIZED POROUS MEMBRANE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilized porous membrane which can be obtained through hydrophilization by a simple method without impairing the blocking performance and permeability and easily retains the physical properties of the membrane base material, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The hydrophilized porous membrane is formed by dispersing an organoclay which has been organized with a hydrophilic compound into a hydrophobic polymer. It can be obtained by a manufacturing process including a step of dispersing the organoclay having been organized with the hydrophilic compound in a solution of the hydrophobic polymer and a step of subjecting this solution to phase separation to obtain the hydrophilized porous membrane.
