<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multi-color thermal transfer recording medium which is provided by mixing ink layers with a plurality of colors on a substrate, and which can avoid a trouble in the winding of an ink ribbon. <P>SOLUTION: In this multi-color thermal transfer recording medium, at least the thermal transfer ink layers with the plurality of colors are pattern-printed on the substrate; ends of the ink layers are sloped at a point of contact between the respective thermal transfer ink layers; and parts, where sloped parts of the respective ink layers overlap each other, partially overlap each other so as not to exceed the overall layer thickness of each ink layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
