PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high luminance image display by achieving arrangement of a transparent conductive anode electrode with a high forming temperature in an upper area of a luminance layer, where the heat resistance is low. SOLUTION: Organic electroluminescent layers 4a, 4b, 4c as a first organic layer with a low heat resistance are formed on a main substrate as an insulation substrate, and the anode electrode 8 with a high forming temperature is formed on a heat resistant and transparent cover film 7, both of which are then laminated to achieve arrangement of the transparent conductive anode electrode with a high forming temperature on the organic electroluminescent layers 4a, 4b, 4c, where the heat resistance is low. The second organic layer having a function for increasing the luminescence efficiency is formed on the transparent conductive anode electrode 8 before laminating on the organic electroluminescent layer 4a, 4b, 4c, enabling a tight connection between the organic materials.
